Overview

We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to transform player data into actionable insights that drive growth across our gaming portfolio. You'll work closely with product, finance, and marketing teams, leveraging your technical skills and Tableau expertise to build impactful dashboards and uncover meaningful trends. As a key member of our growing data team, you'll make strong contributions to our core reporting and analytics, ensuring stakeholders have the insights they need to make data-informed decisions. Your analyses will directly influence strategy, product performance, and player engagement in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze player behavior patterns, retention metrics, and KPIs to uncover insights that inform product and marketing strategies.

  • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide real-time visibility into performance metrics such as DAU/MAU, retention, conversion, and LTV.

  • Partner with data engineering to implement alerting and monitoring systems to ensure data quality and reliability.

  • Conduct cohort and lifecycle analysis to understand player engagement, retention and monetization trends.

  • Apply and promote Tableau best practices for permanence optimization, interactivity, and reusability across dashboards and teams.

  • Train and support internal stakeholders in using Tableau and other BI tools for self-service analytics.

  • Translate complex datasets into clear, visual narratives that drive alignment and actions across teams.

  • Collaborate with data engineering and game teams to define metrics and ensure consistent reporting.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in gaming or tech.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale datasets.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and build Tableau dashboard with advanced interactivity (filters, parameters, LOD calculations).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and governance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience using Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.)

  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Metabase, or Looker.

  • Background in free-to-play mobile gaming, or social casino analytics.

  • Working knowledge of player behavior KPIs and monetization models.
