We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our remote team and support data-driven decision making across our operations. This role involves working with complex datasets, building analytical tools, and contributing to various data projects using modern technologies. You'll primarily be supporting Asset-based Lending operations, with additional work across other lending groups.

Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data flow analysis for troubleshooting.
- Strong quantitative and statistical problem-solving abilities to analyze novel datasets, identify appropriate variables, investigate data irregularities, and develop reporting structures.
- Programming experience in at least one of the following: VBA, Python, or SQL with demonstrated ability to write and troubleshoot code.
- SQL database experience for data extraction and manipulation.
- Python programming skills.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and large language models to enhance analytical work and processes.
- Experience working with AWS S3 buckets and cloud-based data storage.
- Background in QA/UA testing for proprietary software applications.
- Experience in finance, banking, or lending industries.
- Healthcare sector experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute ad hoc data analysis projects using modern analytical tools and AI technologies.
- Analyze client reports and data to support lending operations and decision-making.
- Develop and modify analytical tools using Excel, VBA, Python, SQL, and other technologies to accommodate business requirements.
- Create automated solutions and macros to support operations team needs.
- Interface with SQL databases and AWS S3 buckets for data extraction and storage.
- Provide backup coverage for recurring internal and external reporting processes.
- Support various data-driven initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Process funding requests and maintain relationships with an assigned portfolio of established clients.
- Collaborate effectively in small team environments, typically working individually or with 1-2 colleagues.
