The Data Analyst for Product Finance is responsible for managing financial data streams related to BaaS programs, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing data processes, and supporting financial reporting with strong analytical skills.

Role Description
The Data Analyst for the Product Finance team will play a critical, cross-functional role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial data streams related to our Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) programs. This position is central to the operational success of the Product Finance function, requiring a blend of strong data analysis skills, financial acumen, and an expert ability to manage complex data and reporting structures. You will be the team's subject matter expert on data flow from core systems like Finxact and external Partner Files, directly supporting financial reporting and internal controls.
In this role you will:
- Partner File Management: Monitor the timely delivery of Partner Files and generate cross-functional reports detailing status and dependencies.
- Data Stream Optimization: Analyze and streamline complex data fields and sources to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
- SQL Development: Create and execute production-level SQL queries to facilitate the onboarding of new financial partners and integrate data streams.
- Validation Oversight: Monitor, document, and clearly communicate any changes to automated data validations to the broader Product Finance team.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation detailing the core Finxact system related to financial data derived from BaaS programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years experience in Financial Data Analysis or equivalent
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrated, advanced experience analyzing databases and manipulating large datasets using SQL.
- Expert-Level Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling for financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of Bank and/or Fintech Accounting data streams and financial workflows.
- Previous experience working with fintech or banking core systems (e.g., Finxact) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
