What you will do

Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Product Technical Support organization! In this role, you will extract valuable insights from data, enabling informed decision-making, and driving our organizational growth. This position involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable recommendations. If you’re driven by the potential of data-driven solutions and have strong analytical skills, this role could be an excellent fit for you! This is a remote position for US based candidates. How you will do it

  • Data Collection and Cleaning

  • Extract data from primary and secondary sources

  • Ensure data accuracy and quality by removing irrelevant information.

  • Classify and organize data for further analysis.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation

  • Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within complex datasets.

  • Translate findings into meaningful insights.

  • Database Management

  • Develop and manage data systems and databases.

  • Implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

  • Maintain data sources and ensure data integrity.

  • Data Visualization

  • Master data visualization tools to create easily understandable graphs.

  • Facilitate data-driven decision-making through visual representations.

What you will need

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business analytics) is required.

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBi).

  • US citizen or permanent resident of the US

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
