WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Analyze complex datasets to answer key business questions and deliver timely, actionable insights across functions such as HR, sales (Salesforce), engineering, and product engagement.
- Use tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau to extract, clean, validate, and visualize data from various sources.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency by monitoring data quality, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with teams to address root causes.
- Maintain and improve data sources and pipelines; contribute to better data hygiene and scalable data infrastructure.
- Document data processes and analyses to support transparency, knowledge sharing, and long-term usability.
- Support the maintenance and organization of the data warehouse, identifying and implementing opportunities for optimization.
- Stay current on new tools and techniques and share best practices to support continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Take ownership of foundational and detail-oriented tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of the data ecosystem.
- Experience with Salesforce and familiarity with ETL processes are strong assets.
- Versatile and resourceful, with a willingness to take on a variety of data-related tasks across different business areas.
- Curious, adaptable, and quick to learn new tools, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Highly proficient in data cleaning and preparation using a range of techniques; expert-level skills in Excel are essential.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries across large datasets.
- Familiar with data modeling concepts and comfortable working with data warehouses.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; able to communicate data issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Salesforce is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.
- Willing and able to work onsite from our Greenwood Village, CO office
