Department Overview
Motorola Solutions DAS department provides expertise and solutions for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance in-building wireless coverage for public safety and enterprise customers. Their DAS solutions involve designing, installing, monitoring, and maintaining systems that boost and distribute radio signals within buildings, ensuring reliable communication for critical operations, according to Motorola Solutions.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read blue prints and building drawings. Knowledge of common DAS system configurations.

  • Ability to use common software programs similar to MS Office and Google Docs/Sheets.

  • Must have knowledage of common web based software such as Google Earth, and Auto Desk

  • Assist DAS Engineering by inputting new project requests into the Work Assignments log, open new and maintain project folders in the DAS Solutions drive, upload the DAS Forms and drawings into project folders.

  • Inform DAS Engineers when project iBWave models are ready.

  • Create iBwave project models in iBwave by creating a new iBwave project file that includes the scaling of the floor plan, creating horizontal layers over the floor plans, creating prediction boundaries and importing or drawing in wall layers, cover page and any other basic information requested. 

  • Open and fill out ROM Tools for 700/800 MHz ROM requests.

  • Generating follow up correspondence to direct customers and Channel Partners to request, follow up or provide information required or requested.

    Target Base Salary Range: $65,900 - $131,000 USD

    Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


    Basic Requirements

    Required Skills:​

    • High School diploma, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required.

    • 3+ years’ DAS Project Administration experience with in-building distributed antenna systems (IDAS) required; commercial/multifamily new construction and high-rise experience highly preferred.

    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
