The Opportunity:
CACI is responsible for providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). These services cover a range of support categories including management, engineering, maintenance, supply, data, training, continuous support, infrastructure, logistics, and personnel. The primary objective of these diverse services is to ensure warfighting readiness across the globe by increasing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of all currently deployed and future TIGS SoS.
Responsibilities:
Leads cybersecurity operations support services that span hardware and software tools and sensors, from the perimeter to endpoints; equipment; and policies, including incident response, compliance reporting, logging, RMF support, SCA, and CSSP support
Assesses cybersecurity policies, emerging technologies, and best practices to make recommendations that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations
Analyzes complex security issues and develops effective solutions and incident response to maintain cybersecurity compliance and readiness and limit cyber impact
Reports cybersecurity potential and anomalous system events and incidents to the Program Manager
Responds to cybersecurity incidents with appropriate actions and countermeasures
Supports security incident response team requirements, including inspections, audits, policy review, strategy development, and recommendations to improve security posture
Tests and evaluates security patches for compatibility with security baselines, as well as new, replacement, trial, and test hardware/software brought into the authorization boundaries; resolves any configuration issues
Manages exceptions to policy workflows for portable electronic devices and coordinates with the Government for approval
Leads the preparation and maintenance of artifacts to support RMF packages and achieve ATO, including maintaining documentation, implementing and monitoring security controls, and reporting status
Reports information about the programs cyber posture in authoritative systems of record, including tracking and reporting status on applicable orders, directives, and POA&Ms
Performs periodic and on-demand vulnerability scans, develops vulnerability trend reports on assets and program of record systems, and provides scan results to service providers
Compiles information and supports cyber evaluations, inspections, assessments, and exercises and implements recommendations and required actions that result from these activities
Performs logging activities, including configuration and operation of the centralized logging system, forwarding logs to the CSSP, auditing logs, validating logs, and providing reports to the Government
Serves as a mentor for other cybersecurity personnel assigned to the program and may participate in and contribute to strategic discussions and process/procedure development related to cybersecurity operations
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance with the ability to maintain it
BA/BS +8-12 years experience
Certification - CGRC/CAP or CASP+ or Cloud+ or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC or Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated or Training
Displays mastery of cybersecurity operations across hardware and software domains, preferably in government and military environments, including security patch testing and policy exception management.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of incident response, compliance reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) support, with expertise in restoring services after cybersecurity incidents.
Exhibits strategic expertise in analyzing complex security issues, developing effective solutions, with preferred experience leading teams through RMF processes and Authorization to Operate (ATO) achievements.
Manages critical aspects of cybersecurity including vulnerability scanning, log management, policy implementation, and coordination with government stakeholders, while reporting cyber posture in authoritative systems.
Applies expert-level problem-solving skills to assess emerging technologies, improve security postures, and maintain cybersecurity compliance across multiple complex systems, including supporting cyber evaluations, inspections, and exercises.
Demonstrates proficiency in mentoring cybersecurity personnel, contributing to strategic discussions, and functioning as a technical expert across multiple high-impact projects in sensitive environments.
