We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate assistance by phone, email, chat, or in person.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can listen carefully, resolve problems efficiently, handle multiple priorities, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, patience, professionalism, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, orders, billing, and account-related questions.
  • Listen to customers, identify their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a calm, respectful, and professional manner.
  • Process orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, payments, or account updates as required.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved and expectations have been met.
  • Document customer interactions, requests, complaints, and resolutions in the company's customer relationship management (CRM) or ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisors or appropriate departments.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, billing, shipping, technical support, and other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and protect confidential customer information.
  • Meet established service standards, response-time goals, quality expectations, and productivity targets.
  • Stay informed about company products, services, promotions, procedures, and policies.
  • Identify recurring customer concerns and communicate trends or feedback to management.
  • Assist with other administrative and customer-support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service, retail, call center, administrative, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional and courteous telephone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with difficult or upset customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and customer-service software.
  • Ability to learn new software, products, and procedures quickly.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using CRM, help-desk, ticketing, or contact-center software.
  • Previous experience handling high-volume customer inquiries.
  • Experience processing orders, payments, refunds, or account information.

Compensation & Benefits
