The Customer Project Manager has the responsibility to successfully manage the implementation of projects, on-time, within defined scope, on budget as defined in the As-sold Cost Baseline, improving profitability, ensuring quality execution and customer satisfaction. The Customer Facing Project Manager will drive project team and manage customer relationship in the scope of the contract. The Project Manager is expected to follow the guidelines of PMBOK® and Nokia Project Management processes, manage Project Management Plans and project phase plans for the projects.
Responsibilities- The Project Manager should be PMP Certified or working towards certification.
- Anticipate risk and evaluate related financial and customer satisfaction impacts.
- Coordinate the delivery team activities to follow the agreed to project schedule and customers’ expectations.
- Respond to scope creep by immediately escalating modifications to the project scope.
- Acts as the key customer interface to the Customer for all project related business extensions.
- Ensure Project close out, invoicing and lessons learned are completed.
- Obtain customer input sign-off of completed deliverables and formal customer acceptance of project completion.
- Manage internal project reviews.
- Be expertly versed in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project, AI tools.
You have
- Candidate must be located in Dallas, Texas.
- Minimum of BS or at least 5 years of Project Management experience in the wireless/wireline telecommunications field.
- Experience in Data Centers, IP Networks, and Optical Transport is required.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong leadership and management skills are required.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Strong business acumen in planning and organizing, information integration, and decision-making, with the ability to achieve results while focusing on customer requirements and business success.
