As Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll own the marketing programs that help customers discover more value from Litmos—supporting deeper adoption, relevant expansion, and stronger long-term relationships. You’ll partner closely with customer-facing teams and GTM Ops to turn customer needs into timely, relevant programs. We expect you to adopt and use AI as a core part of how you work—not as a side experiment.
What you'll own
Build customer growth programs
- Own customer marketing programs that support expansion, from strategy through execution and measurement
- Segment the customer base to identify where additional Litmos solutions could address an emerging need or create greater value
- Build campaigns that introduce relevant capabilities without making every customer communication feel like a sales pitch
- Equip Customer-facing teams with value narratives, campaigns, and assets that create a clear path to expansion
- Measure customer engagement, solution adoption, and expansion pipeline influenced by your programs
Support retention at scale
- Partner with Customer Success to turn account health, adoption, and engagement signals into targeted marketing programs
- Build proactive lifecycle campaigns that reinforce value and keep customers engaged well before renewal
- Develop communications for under-engaged or at-risk customer segments as part of a broader retention strategy
- Contribute the marketing strategy, positioning, and communications for new retention initiatives
- Test what works across different customer segments, measure honestly, and change course when the results aren’t there
Support partner marketing needs
- Serve as the marketing point of contact for tactical ecosystem and co-marketing requests
- Create customer-facing campaigns and communications that make relevant integrations and partner solutions easier to discover and understand
- Turn around high-priority partner requests without losing momentum on the broader customer marketing roadmap
- Keep essential partner communications moving, even when the request doesn’t arrive with a perfect brief
Operate with data and AI
- Use customer data to identify meaningful segments, signals, and opportunities—not just build bigger distribution lists
- Work across marketing automation, CRM, and customer success platforms to target programs and measure their impact
- Use AI throughout your workflow—from research and segmentation to drafting, personalization, and analysis
- Continuously improve your own process as better tools and approaches emerge
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with meaningful time in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or expansion/retention programs.
- Demonstrated impact on a business outcome — expansion pipeline, upsell revenue, net revenue retention, or churn.
- Comfort segmenting customer data and operating across a marketing automation platform and CRM.
- Strong collaborator with Customer Success; able to translate customer signals into marketing action.
- Bias toward actionComfortable making decisions and moving fast in a changing environment
How we'll measure success
- Expansion pipeline sourced or influenced from customer marketing programs.
- Adoption of premium offerings among targeted customer segments.
- Retention outcomes — reduced churn or improved gross/net retention — within campaign-touched cohorts.
