Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a hands-on Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) Lead to join an established client team and guide an implementation that is already well underway. This person will serve as the primary voice of CJA expertise—providing technical leadership, solution design, and practical execution while operating independently without relying on a large supporting team.

This is a hands-on delivery role. Success requires deep platform expertise and the ability to build and configure CJA solutions—not only lead a team or interface with stakeholders.
Location: Remote - United States

Key ResponsibilitiesCJA Technical Leadership & Implementation
  • Lead and actively contribute to the ongoing CJA implementation, providing independent technical direction and expert guidance.
  • Design and configure CJA solutions across Analysis Workspace, Data Views, metrics, dimensions, segments, calculated metrics, attribution models, and reporting.
  • Guide CJA data enablement through AEP, including XDM schema design, datasets, identity strategy, ingestion patterns, and connection configuration.
  • Provide architecture recommendations, identify implementation gaps or risks, and define practical paths forward.
  • Independently evaluate the current implementation, recommend solutions, and execute the work needed to move it forward.
Analytics Strategy & Measurement
  • Translate business questions and stakeholder requirements into scalable analytics use cases, measurement frameworks, and reporting solutions.
  • Assess and map data sources to support CJA use cases, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), CRM platforms, and other enterprise systems.
  • Establish reporting and analytics best practices that improve consistency, usability, governance, and adoption across the client team.
  • Develop reporting architecture and measurement frameworks that enable reliable, actionable insights across customer journeys.
Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery
  • Partner effectively with business and technical stakeholders while remaining accountable for hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and delivery.
  • Serve as a trusted source of CJA expertise for the client team.
  • Balance stakeholder partnership with direct ownership of technical delivery.

  • Deep, hands-on expertise with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, including Analysis Workspace, Data Views, metrics, dimensions, segmentation, calculated metrics, attribution, and reporting.
  • Strong Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) knowledge, including data architecture, XDM schemas, datasets, Identity Service, Real-Time Customer Profile, data ingestion, and CJA data enablement.
  • Demonstrated experience designing CJA implementations and analytics solutions, defining business use cases, mapping data sources, and developing measurement frameworks.
  • Experience connecting AEP data to CJA through batch and streaming ingestion and working with data from Adobe Analytics, AJO, CRM, and other enterprise sources.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical and analytics solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make sound architecture decisions, and lead initiatives with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Proven ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on platform execution in a complex enterprise environment.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
