The Position: Are you an analytical thinker who is tech-savvy, enjoys helping others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team full-time.
In this role, you will support our members, hosts, and potential members by answering questions via email, chat, and phone, while proactively resolving issues with empathy and professionalism. You will also assist with day-to-day responsibilities that help our team succeed, including backend support tasks, reviewing member and host feedback, and collaborating with internal teams. This position requires troubleshooting technical issues, working simultaneously in multiple systems, and maintaining strong communication across a variety of customer situations. This is a fully remote, full-time position (40 hours per week). Scheduling may include some evenings and weekend shifts, based on business needs and team coverage.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Identifying, and troubleshooting or escalating technical issues
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries
- Communicating with customers through various channels, including online systems and phone
- Completing administrative functions within our backend database and ticketing systems
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
- Familiarizing yourself with RV types, lingo, and items related to RVing
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can best help our members and hosts
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers each day
- Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity
- Comfort with technical systems and app navigation
- Experience with G Suite is a plus
- Experience with Intercom or other ticketing systems is a plus
- Bonus points for:
- Sense of humor
- Passion for camping, RVing, and the outdoors
- Experience in the travel and tourism industry
