ROLE SUMMARY
The Customer Engagement Lead is responsible for supervising operations of the FF, including hiring, coaching and developing Sales managers in order to reach and exceed sales targets.
Plans, organizes and monitors activities/projects to maximize the business potential of the FF.
Recognizes and responds to customer needs. Encourages cooperation and communicates with all members of cross functional teams.
Accomplishment of these goals must comply with all terms and conditions of Corporate Policies and Procedures, while conducting all job related activities with integrity and adherence to Pfizer's high standards of business conduct.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Performance Management
  • Develop and implement the sales strategy and Field Force (FF) business plans.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by motivating the FF and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor activities to ensure timely achievement of objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance and sales results.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports outlining sales volume and potential growth.
  • Control expenditures in line with approved budgets.

Field Force Leadership, Coaching & Development
  • Effectively coach Sales Managers and work in the field with direct reports through coaching and counseling to improve leadership skills and overall effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain individual development plans for direct reports, including talent identification and succession planning.
  • Actively participate with Egypt LT and ELT to build robust talent and succession plans across the organization.
  • Interview, select, and onboard Field Force employees in accordance with Pfizer procedures and policies.

Forecasting, Incentives & Operational Planning
  • Actively participate in the country revenue forecasting process and operating plan cycles.
  • Collaborate with GSC colleagues to provide accurate revenue and volume forecasts, ensuring product availability and avoiding stock‑outs and write‑offs.
  • Proactively propose incentive plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams, balancing motivation with compliance (CE requirements).
  • Design and assign territories to enhance FF efficiency and optimize customer coverage.

Market Intelligence, Product & Technical Expertise
  • Maintain strong technical expertise, including deep product and competitive knowledge.
  • Study and analyze market trends and competitive dynamics, reporting insights to top management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond accurately and promptly to product, policy, and business‑related inquiries from customers and employees.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Maintain effective communication across Field Force members and cross‑functional teams.
  • Listen and respond clearly, concisely, and promptly to management directives, customer needs, and direct report concerns.
  • Anticipate and respond appropriately to changing conditions to foster positive and productive working relationships.

Governance, Compliance & Decision‑Making
  • Ensure full compliance with all Pfizer policies and procedures, including fair and non‑discriminatory recruitment, employment, training, and people management practices.
  • Make sound, fact‑based decisions aligned with business priorities and ethical standards.
  • Contribute to the achievement of FF and Pfizer objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 12 plus years of pharmaceutical experience
  • Minimum 4 years people management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree or MBA desired
  • Knowledge of healthcare environment and Therapeutic areas
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Finance and business acumen
