Customer Account Specialist- Houston, TX
The Customer Account Specialist- Houston, TX serves as a primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, coordinating customer orders from entry through shipment. This role is responsible for providing timely communication, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
This position provides an opportunity to develop expertise in customer account management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
Customer Account Specialists have potential opportunities to advance to various roles in operations, product management, business development, and account management. This role is 100% on-site.
Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the order process.
- Coordinate customer orders from order entry through shipment.
- Communicate order status, updates, and potential disruptions to customers in a timely manner.
- Identify and resolve customer issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Scheduling, Manufacturing, and Distribution teams.
- Monitor orders to help ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Support customer account management and order fulfillment activities.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Education & Qualifications
- University, College, associate degree or higher is preferred or an acceptable combination of education and related experience.
- 1–2 years of customer service or customer support experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Employment references required.

Base salary range: $ 55,000- $60,320 per year.
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
