We're hiring a CRM Implementation Manager to lead client projects from Discovery through go-live
You'll own the entire project lifecycle:
- Lead Discovery: stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, platform evaluation
- Manage Implementation: CRM configuration, data migration, system integration, training, go-live
- Client relationship: primary point of contact, expectation management, trust-building
- Team coordination: lead internal specialists (integration architects, migration experts, trainers)
- Delivery: on-time, on-budget, high client satisfaction
Client Leadership
- Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor
- Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions
- Facilitate platform selection and strategic decisions
- Manage expectations and navigate organizational politics
- Build consensus across competing priorities
- Executive-level communication and presentations
Project Management
- Manage projects from Discovery through go-live (4-8 months typical)
- Coordinate internal team members and specialist partners
- Track timeline, budget, risks, and issues
- Produce client deliverables (requirements docs, recommendations, roadmaps)
- Ensure quality of technical work (integrations, migrations, configurations)
- Fixed-price or T&M project delivery (protect budget and margin)
Technical Coordination
- Oversee CRM platform implementations (Salesforce, HubSpot, others)
- Coordinate data migrations (on-premise, legacy systems, 100K+ to millions of records)
- Manage integration projects (ERP, data warehouse, marketing automation, etc.)
- Review technical work for quality (don't need to execute, but must understand)
- Coordinate with implementation team and integration developers
- Ensure 99%+ data accuracy on migrations
Discovery & Strategy
- Facilitate Discovery phases (6-8 weeks typical)
- Conduct stakeholder workshops across multiple departments
- Document requirements and prioritize features
- Lead platform evaluation processes
- Develop recommendations and implementation roadmaps
- Present findings to steering committees
Experience
- 5+ years managing CRM implementation projects
- Led 3+ full CRM implementations (Discovery → go-live)
- Implementation experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRMs
- Data migration projects (100K+ records)
- Multi-stakeholder projects (3+ departments or user groups)
- Experience with nonprofits, cultural instititons, small-medium enterprises, or similar sectors
Skills
- Project Management: Timeline, budget, risk, stakeholder coordination
- Client Relationship: Trust-building, expectation management, difficult conversations
- Workshop Facilitation: Requirements gathering, platform evaluation, consensus-building
- Technical Understanding: CRM platforms, integrations, data migrations (coordinate specialists, not execute)
- Communication: Written (deliverables, status reports) and verbal (presentations, meetings)
- Strategic Thinking: See big picture, make informed recommendations, navigate trade-offs
Platform Knowledge
- Salesforce (Nonprofit Cloud, Sales Cloud, configuration and workflows)
- HubSpot (all Hubs)
- Understanding of other CRM platforms (Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.)
- Integration concepts (APIs, data sync, middleware)
- Data migration methodologies
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
- Salesforce Administrator or HubSpot certification
- Experience with donor management systems (Raiser's Edge), ticketing systems, association management software
- Change management certification (Prosci, etc.)
- Zoo, aquarium, museum, or cultural institution sector experience

- High data accuracy (99%+ on migrations)
- Strong user adoption (100% of trained staff using system)
- Client satisfaction (NPS 9+, would refer Lynton)

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
