Mudflap serves the $800B trucking industry, the backbone of the U.S. economy. Our market-leading payment products help truckers save thousands of dollars on fuel (their #1 business expense), while providing our fuel stop partners with access to new, hard-to-reach customers. We’re a fast-growing marketplace business looking for a new customer-obsessed teammate to join us on this exciting journey.

Mudflap is in a critical phase of growth, and we’re building a high-impact Revenue Operations team to help scale our business for the long term. We're looking for a HubSpot Systems Developer to take strategic ownership of our HubSpot ecosystem and evolve it into a core engine of business growth.

In this role, you'll design, implement, and continuously optimize scalable HubSpot systems that empower our go-to-market teams. This is a foundational role that blends hands-on technical execution with an operational point of view. You’ll help shape how systems and data fuel decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, and you'll collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and build smart infrastructure that drives measurable outcomes.

Experience with product ownership, CSPO, or Technical Program Management (TPM) principles is a strong plus. Familiarity with HubSpot CMS as part of a larger growth strategy, especially supporting web infrastructure, landing pages, and lead conversion, will set you up for success.

Expectations (In this role, you will):

  • Design and implement scalable HubSpot CRM architecture, ensuring best practices for data flow, system integration, and module management
  • Act as a strategic partner across Revenue Operations, Sales, and Marketing to proactively identify and implement system improvements that align with business goals
  • Support the development and optimization of HubSpot CMS templates, landing pages, and content modules as part of a tightly integrated growth engine that drives acquisition and conversion
  • Optimize HubSpot workflows, pipelines, and automation to streamline go-to-market processes across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations between HubSpot and other platforms (e.g., Braze, Zapier, internal tools), ensuring seamless data exchange and scalable system performance
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and implement improvements for speed, reliability, and usability
  • Stay current with HubSpot’s evolving feature set, platform updates, and best practices to continuously improve system functionality and ROI
  • Own cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, managing stakeholders across Strategic Finance, Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, and Growth Marketing
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend architecture, workflows, and integrations

Experience (What we look for):

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in HubSpot CRM development, including architecture design, automation, and system optimization
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot CMS structure, modules, and content strategy in a growth-focused environment
  • Proficiency in HubL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • Experience working with HubSpot APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
  • Ability to build dashboards and reports in HubSpot that surface insights and support data-driven decision making
  • Experience collaborating with go-to-market teams and enabling them on platform best practices and tools
  • Knowledge of CRM architecture and data hygiene best practices
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action; able to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Bonus: Experience as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or in a Technical Program Manager (TPM) role, with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Perks and Benefits (What we offer):

  • Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth startup
  • Multiple health benefit options
  • Responsible Time Off
  • 401(k) matching
  • Opportunities and support for major career growth
  • Annual Company offsite event (Mudfest!)

The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation.
