The Security Operations Team consist of Security infrastructure, guard force operations and crisis management. As Anduril continues to grow and tackle complex government and defense missions, we are seeking a dedicated Crisis Management Lead. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Crisis Management Manager to enhance our crisis preparedness and response capabilities. You will play a key role in the development, execution, and refinement of Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and Emergency Action Plans EAPs). This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional ready to contribute to building a robust crisis management framework focused on immediate safety and operational continuity during emergencies.
- Support Emergency Response Plan Development: Assist in the design, writing, and implementation of comprehensive Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and associated protocols to ensure the organization is prepared for potential emergencies.
- Contribute to Emergency Action Plans: Support the development and refinement of clear and actionable Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) to guide Anduril personnel during critical events.
- Facilitate Training and Drills: Aid in the coordination and execution of training sessions and tabletop exercises related to customized crisis scenarios to institutionalize response protocols and promote awareness.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Facilities, EHS, Legal, HR, and other departments to ensure cohesive crisis response strategies and plans align with organizational goals.
- Assist with Crisis Management Support: Support the coordination of responses during critical incidents, helping to minimize confusion and downtime by ensuring adherence to established Crisis Management playbooks, ERPs and EAPs.
- Support Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying and analyzing potential risks relevant to emergency scenarios and contributing to mitigation strategies within ERPs.
- Help Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Support efforts to ensure crisis management practices, particularly ERPs and EAPs, meet applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Contribute to Communication Management: Assist in establishing and testing clear communication channels for emergency situations, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination to stakeholders.
- Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the regular review and update of Crisis Management framework, playbooks, ERPs and EAPs based on lessons learned from actual incidents and emerging threats
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Emergency Management, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness, or a related field focused on incident response.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and contribute to the development of emergency response plans and a proactive mindset towards achieving organizational goals in crisis preparedness and response.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
- Familiarity with developing and executing Emergency Action Plans.
- Familiarity with crisis management software and tools.
- Certifications such as Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or similar
