Creator Team Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your design lead, PMs, and engineers to improve core creator workflows, including content upload, management, publishing, and monetization.
• Design intuitive interfaces that support creators with varying levels of technical expertise—from hobbyists to professional developers.
• Translate technical concepts into approachable UX through thoughtful flows, clear visual hierarchy, and user-friendly microcopy.
• Pair with the community and support teams to understand creator pain points and use those insights to improve tool usability and reduce friction.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups across platforms (web, desktop, mobile), with an eye toward accessibility and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the design systems team to ensure visual and interaction consistency across the creator experience.
• Help define the user experience for new creator-focused features—from experimental publishing tools to scalable monetization programs.
• Contribute to early discovery and testing of new tools, including interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of professional product design experience and have worked on shipping experiences, ideally for tools, platforms, or creator workflow-heavy products.
• You have strong UX instincts and know how to simplify complexity without sacrificing capability or clarity.
• You think in flows and systems—understanding how tools fit into broader user journeys and product ecosystems.
• You’re comfortable working in Figma and collaborating with engineering to bring your designs to life.
• You bring curiosity to technical topics, and you're excited to work with creators who use Unity, Udon, SDKs, and other dev tools.
• You’re a proactive collaborator. You listen well, give clear feedback, and are energized by working closely with other designers.
• You care about empowering users, and you're motivated by building tools that support creativity, expression, and economic opportunity.

Bonus Points

• Understanding of trust, safety, or moderation systems that support healthy online interactions.
• Familiarity with social VR, presence-based UX, or designing for avatar-based expression.
• Experience working on cross-platform design (desktop, mobile, VR headsets).
• Passion for online communities, emergent social behavior, or the sociology of digital spaces.

This is a remote-first role. We’re a fully distributed company with team members across the globe. While we work asynchronously, overlap with U.S. time zones is needed for team collaboration.
