Manager, Creative Strategy & CopyRole Overview

Asurion is looking for a Creative Strategy & Copy Manager—a creative strategist who can leverage generative AI to develop strong strategies and turn them into compelling, customer-ready copy. Working closely with the Brand and Creative Strategy Director, this person will uncover insights, develop strategies and briefs, shape messaging, and write copy across a range of marketing channels. They will use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini throughout the process to explore ideas, sharpen thinking, accelerate iteration, and strengthen creative writing. This is an opportunity to help redefine what a creative strategist can do. The ideal candidate knows what great strategy and great writing can look like, has already found success using AI tools, and is eager to use them more deeply. They are not looking to replace judgment or creativity with AI; they are excited to combine both to develop better work, get there faster, and help create new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use AI throughout the creative process to develop and refine strategies, uncover insights, generate and refine copy, and accelerate iteration.
  • Write clear, focused creative briefs that translate objectives into actionable creative direction.
  • Develop messaging, positioning, value propositions, and communication frameworks.
  • Turn strategy into external-facing copy across campaigns, digital, in-store collateral, and other marketing channels.
  • Experiment with new AI-enabled strategic and creative approaches to help shape more effective and efficient ways of working.
  • Partner with designers, copywriters, and other team members throughout the creative process.
  • Collaborate across research, product design, product marketing, and partner and growth teams.
  • Support creative work for new products, core clients, brand initiatives, and integrated campaigns.
  • Present briefs, messaging, concepts, and recommendations to teams and leadership.
  • Review creative work against the strategy and help strengthen both the idea and execution.
  • Manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities at once.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in creative strategy, copywriting, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in-house, at an agency, or in a similar creative or marketing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience developing briefs, messaging, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on copy execution.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize research, insights, and stakeholder input.
  • Demonstrated success using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
Skills and Working Style
  • Clear, confident communicator and presenter.
  • Creative and strategic thinker who can connect insights to ideas and execution.
  • Comfortable expressing a point of view and providing constructive feedback.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative, approachable, and open to feedback.
  • Able to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for experimenting with new AI to improve strategy, writing, and creative workflows.
