As a Creative Strategist, you will lead day-to-day creative strategy for assigned clients or workstreams, translating business goals, audience insights, and campaign learnings into stronger messaging, testing plans, and creative recommendations. You’ll partner closely with communications strategy, media, creative studio, analytics, and client teams to develop creative strategies that align to channel best practices, brand guidelines, and performance goals. This role is best suited for someone who can move beyond supporting strategy to more independently shaping it, bringing a clear point of view on messaging, testing, and creative performance, while helping elevate the quality of creative thinking across the work.

Key responsibilities

Client‑Centric

  • Lead day-to-day creative strategy for assigned clients or campaign scopes, shaping messaging direction, creative testing priorities, and audience-informed recommendations.
  • Translate business goals into communication and creative objectives that support both brand and performance outcomes.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal partners and client stakeholders, helping guide the strategic direction of creative work through clear, confident recommendations.
  • Present strategic rationale, testing plans, and creative insights in a way that helps clients and internal teams make stronger decisions.

Product‑Led

  • Use platform, channel, and creative performance data to inform stronger strategy and optimization recommendations across paid social, video, display, and related channels.
  • Apply emerging tools and technologies, including AI where appropriate, to improve workflow quality, creative ideation, testing rigor, and strategic insight.
  • Help identify operational pain points, workflow opportunities, and tool-related improvements that can strengthen creative strategy development over time.

Data & Measurement‑Driven

  • Analyze campaign performance, testing outcomes, audience behavior, and research findings to identify actionable insights that improve future creative work.
  • Develop and refine creative testing plans, including hypotheses, prioritization logic, and interpretation of results.
  • Connect creative recommendations to measurable KPIs and business outcomes, helping clients and internal teams understand what is working, why, and what should change next.
  • Synthesize data from platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and other creative/reporting environments into clear strategic learnings.

The Tinuiti Way

  • Bring a strong test-and-learn mindset to all creative strategy work, always looking for ways to make messaging, creative structure, and audience targeting stronger.
  • Translate audience, behavioral, cultural, and market insight into practical creative territories, message directions, and optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute meaningfully to brainstorming and ideation sessions, helping move teams from observations to stronger strategic creative concepts.
  • Stay current on digital, social, streaming, and emerging platform trends and apply those learnings to improve creative effectiveness.

Owner Mindset

  • Take accountability for the strength, quality, and usefulness of your strategic recommendations and creative insights.
  • Ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and push thinking forward when the team risks solving the wrong problem.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve creative performance, testing rigor, strategic clarity, or workflow efficiency.
  • Manage time and priorities effectively across multiple deliverables, clients, and internal partners.

Ways of working and values

  • Greatness attracts Greatness: Seek feedback, push for stronger creative thinking, and stay open to better tools, ideas, and methods.
  • Clients grow, we grow: Anchor creative strategy in business outcomes, audience understanding, and measurable learning.
  • Culture of ownership: Move quickly, improve continuously, and hold yourself accountable for stronger strategic outputs.

Professional & Technical Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in creative strategy, advertising, brand strategy, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong experience translating business and marketing goals into messaging, testing, and creative strategy recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting campaign reports, platform data, testing results, and research findings to inform strategy.
  • Experience working directly with clients and/or senior internal stakeholders to guide strategic creative decisions.
  • Familiarity with paid social, video, streaming, display, and broader digital environments, with a strong understanding of how creative should adapt by channel.
  • Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and day-to-day decision-making, with strong judgment in validating outputs and handling sensitive data.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain strategy clearly and persuasively.
  • Deep familiarity with creative analytics tools and audience research
