Creative Services Producer

FOX21 and SOCO CW is looking for a dangerously talented individual with a fresh new perspective to add to our dynamic creative team.

We are seeking a Commercial/Promotions Producer experienced in producing client commercials and on-air/digital station image promotion spots on tight deadlines. 

This position will require you to write, produce, shoot and edit using Adobe Creative Cloud. 

Expertise in writing, producing, shooting and editing snappy, focused and original ads that successfully promote a client’s business is a must.

This position will report to the Creative Services Director.

Essential Duties:

• Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time
• Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines
• Work with Adobe Premier and Sony cameras
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/videographer/editor for a local station or cable network working in a news environment
• Possess a strong understanding of design, typography and composition
• Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends when needed
• Strong non-linear editing skills
• Passion for strong image and promotion writing
• Working knowledge of lighting and audio gear
• Possess excellent communication, presentation, organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all departments
• Log management experience a plus
• Must be able to provide a reel of work examples
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Compensation

• Compensation range from $18.50/ hr + commensurate with experience and skill level.
