About the role

As a Creative Localization Specialist at Crunchyroll you will support the Supervisor of Creative & English translation in a short term assignment to populate our Key Names and Phrases database. We have 100s of existing documents covering all of our library's controlled vocabulary.

This is slated as a 3 month contract role.

  • Move creative documentation into our new database, making it easy for all teams to access.
  • Highlight inconsistencies to your leader as you come across them.

About You

  • You have experience in the area of localization, specifically in managing the creative and legal aspects of that work.
  • You have experience working in the Entertainment Industry, ideally with animated content.
  • You have hands-on experience working with controlled terminology or metadata management.

About the Team

The Crunchyroll localization team plays a crucial role in ensuring that anime fans worldwide can enjoy vibrant animated content in their native languages. Our team, which is diverse and collaborative, is spread out globally. We manage translations, subtitling and dubbing workflows. We take pride in preserving the vision of our creators as we adapt the content for our local audiences.

 
The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
