About the role
As an Evangelist at Tastewise, you will report to the VP Sales, and will bring a unique blend of deep food & beverage industry knowledge and expert command of the Tastewise platform and audiences, alongside strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into the data and capabilities our platform provides.
In this role, you will act as a strategic enabler for the sales team to amplify our value across the industry. In addition to enabling the sales team with brainstorming sessions and internal support, you will also be hands-on, joining sales and customer meetings, leading strategic conversations, and helping translate real market needs into action.

- Value-driven Sales Enablement: Translating platform capabilities into compelling prospect narratives, use cases, and playbooks that empower the GTM team.
- Thought Leadership & Market Strategy: Joining external conversations, events (e.g., webinars, executive presentations), and market-facing opportunities, building trust and excitement in the market.
Breakdown of day-to-day responsibilities and core KPIs as a Tastewise Evangelist, tailored to this cross-functional, high-impact role:
Value-driven Sales Enablement (90%)
- Weekly 1:1 cadence with each AE : Translate customer pain points into actionable narratives in workshops and Industry coacher as well as go-to person
- Bi-weekly Team Training BDR team
- Conduct internal training for GTM on new use cases, features, and messaging
- Lead & Conduct POC & pilots
- Lead & execute new employee onboarding training courses (1:1 & 1:many)
Thought Leadership & Market Strategy (10%)
- Orchestrate & frame strategic conversations & deliverables
- Create and help deliver webinars and client workshops
- Represent Tastewise in industry roundtables, panels, and pitch sessions
Requirements
- 5-7 years as a brand manager or category manager for Food or beverage CPGs in the USA - Must
- Hybrid in NYC Office
- SaaS B2B Experience will be a plus
- Background on client facing roles - Must
- Led an emerging brand - Advantage
