Job Description:
Clinitiative Health Research is seeking a talented and detail-oriented CPA Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing valuable insights to support our operational efforts. Your accounting knowledge and QuickBooks proficiency will play a critical role in the financial management of our clinical research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Maintain financial files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or clinical research industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial reporting and budgeting.
