Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Country Manager to lead Fasset’s operations and growth in Nigeria. You will be the face of Fasset in-market, owning partnerships, regulatory relationships, community growth, and user acquisition to establish Fasset as the leading stablecoin neobank in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Own Fasset’s P&L, growth targets, and market strategy for Nigeria.
- Build and manage relationships with local partners, merchants, and financial institutions.
- Lead in-market user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives.
- Represent Fasset with regulators, government bodies, and industry associations in Nigeria.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a local team, including community ambassadors and business development staff.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and localisation recommendations to HQ.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a country management or market leadership role, ideally within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Deep network and understanding of Nigeria’s financial, technology, or startup ecosystem.
- Proven track record of driving growth and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in local Nigerian language(s) is strongly preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with crypto, stablecoins, or digital assets.
- Established relationships with regulators or key industry stakeholders in Nigeria.
