Overview
Here at OTI our innovative sampling tools and diagnostics unlock access to accurate, essential information that advances global health and well-being. Our products include molecular sampling kits for the genome and microbiome, and rapid diagnostics for infectious disease.
The Corporate Development Analyst is responsible for working closely with the Corporate Development team to implement the full complement of the company’s corporate development activities. The individual will evaluate opportunities, perform acquisition target research and prioritization, participate in due diligence, create and maintain valuation models and supporting documents and support integration, when applicable.
Snapshot of Responsibilities:
- Support a range of corporate transaction-related activities that may include acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and in-licensing opportunities
- Develop and maintain complex financial analysis and models
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends
- Support due diligence processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for strategic decision-making
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Maintain and monitor internal analysis and reports
- Assist in post-close integration and monitoring of acquisitions, as necessary
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed
- Travel as required
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 0-2 years of experience, preferably in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or finance
- Relevant industry (diagnostics/life sciences/medical device) experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative, team player with positive attitude and creative problem solving
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, execution oriented, aptitude for successfully managing multiple priorities, of varying complexity within the specified timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to develop relevant industry expertise and knowledge
- Advanced in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook)
The base salary range for this full-time position is $62,000 - $107,000 USD. In addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in our annual bonus program. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the position, based on our defined salary pay ranges. Our ranges are broad to account for differences in roles, performance, experience, skillsets, education and business needs and individual pay is determined by a variety of factors.
