ABOUT THE ROLE
As Corporate Counsel, you will combine strategic planning, legal expertise, and operational excellence to drive sustainable growth and ensure compliant expansion of our blockchain initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of decentralized technology while navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Working at the intersection of innovation and compliance, you'll collaborate with one of the most forward-thinking teams in the blockchain space. This role will require occasional travel for regulatory conferences, stakeholder meetings, and industry events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic initiatives that align business objectives with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead regulatory analysis and strategic planning for new market entries, product launches, and partnership structures.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure compliance by design while maintaining competitive advantage in the market.
- Create and implement frameworks for evaluating strategic opportunities, considering both business potential and regulatory implications.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry partners, and internal teams.
- Drive cross-functional projects that require both strategic thinking and legal expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
- Experience: 3+ years in strategy, operations, or legal roles within blockchain, fintech, or technology companies.
- Education: Law degree (JD) or equivalent legal qualification preferred; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain technology, crypto regulations, and financial services compliance frameworks.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex strategies while navigating regulatory requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Excellence in data-driven decision making and strategic problem solving.
- Communication: Outstanding ability to articulate complex legal and strategic concepts to diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
