Tapcheck is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its small, sophisticated legal team at a pivotal moment of growth. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role offers broad ownership across the full spectrum of legal work at a fast-growing fintech. As Corporate Counsel, you will partner directly with teams across Sales, Product, Finance, Support, and Operations, providing practical legal guidance that enables Tapcheck’s mission to improve financial wellness for employees nationwide.

This is a true in-house generalist role. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, support regulatory compliance as Tapcheck expands into new markets, and advise on employment, product, and corporate governance matters. You will help build the legal infrastructure that allows a lean team to support a dynamic, scaling business.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of legal experience, is admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and has advised high-growth technology or SaaS companies on commercial and corporate matters. Experience in fintech, payments, or product counseling is a plus. This role requires sound judgment, autonomy, and the ability to translate legal risk into actionable guidance for business stakeholders.
