The Corporate Communications & Employee Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a connected and informed culture at Included Health. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, this role will be instrumental in both the smooth execution of our internal communications program and enhancing cross-team collaboration within the broader Corporate Communications function. They’ll be a key player in creating compelling content, managing engaging internal programs and events, and optimizing our communication channels. This role is crucial for boosting employee understanding, pride, and engagement across the organization, while also supporting the operational efficiency and integrated work of key Corporate Communications initiatives.
Responsibilities: Internal Communications & Engagement
- Program & Event Management: In partnership with the Senior Manager, tactically support the planning and execution of all internal communications programs and events, including All Hands Meetings, Employer Ambassador Program, intranet initiatives, and key message campaigns.
- Content Creation & Curation: Develop engaging and informative content, such as articles, announcements, and newsletters, that clearly communicate organizational updates, policies, and initiatives across key internal channels. Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and aligns with Included Health’s mission and values.
- Channel Optimization: Manage and optimize internal communication channels and vendor relationships (e.g., intranet platforms, collaboration tools like Slack) to facilitate seamless information flow and maximize employee engagement and impact. Monitor channel effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and analytics.
Cross-Functional & Team Integration:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Corporate Communications (e.g., social media, public relations, content, brand) to ensure aligned messaging and integrated campaigns.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all departments and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to gather insights, support communication initiatives, and ensure a regular cadence of cross-functional input to inform and improve program priorities.
- Operational Support: Support the Corporate Communications leadership team in optimizing operational workflows and system management (e.g., Asana, content calendar) for the team, ensuring efficient information sharing and project coordination.
Measurement & Reporting:
- Impact Measurement: In partnership with the Senior Manager, establish clear metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and engagement initiatives.
- Performance Analysis: Prepare regular reports and analyses to evaluate communication outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align internal communications metrics with broader Corporate Communications team KPIs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in internal communications or corporate communications, ideally within the healthcare industry or a similarly regulated and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including Google Workspace, intranet software (e.g., Simpplr, Confluence), and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $55,000 - $71,500 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $60,500 - $78,650+ equity + benefits
Zone C: $66,00 -$85,800+ equity + benefits
Zone D: $71,00 - $92,950 + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations.
