As Associate Director, Corporate Accounts you will lead strategic account management and business development efforts in the institutional segment. You will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with high-value corporate accounts, developing aligned growth strategies, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive revenue, client satisfaction, and long-term partnership success. There will be a heavy focus on new business development and growth.
We are likely to be looking for three positions, with a focus on three key areas food service, hospitality or retail.
You will bring deep understanding of institutional client needs, purchasing dynamics, and service delivery models in complex, high-volume environments. A strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate cross-functional business challenges are critical for success in this role.
Other responsibilities include:
- Lead the strategic engagement and growth of corporate accounts in the health care, food service, and/or retail sectors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and execute tailored account strategies to strengthen partnerships, improve service delivery, and drive revenue growth across institutional channels.
- Works closely with account managers to understand business requirements and market needs.
- Recognizes new market segments and opportunities for business development, makes a calculation of returns and investment, and gains agreement for the investment, resources, and actions required for the developments.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, client challenges, and regulatory environments in the institutional space, leveraging insights to inform account strategies.
- Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Barriers to entry such as technical committee review exist at this level.
Qualifications/requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Administration, chemistry, biology, engineering or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Typically requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the industry
- Demonstrated success in driving sales, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Visionary mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and lead transformational initiatives
- Work in a fast-paced, and busy environment
This role will be remote with expected travel of up to 50% depending on the accounts.
