About Push Security
At Push Security, we’re on a mission to defend organizations where work and attacks actually happen: in the browser. For decades, security tools focused on endpoints and networks, leaving the browser, where everyone now works, as a massive blind spot that attackers are exploiting. We are changing that by defining the future of Browser-based Threat Detection and Response. Built by world-class red and blue team experts, Push gives defenders the real-time visibility and control needed to stop modern threats.
Role Overview: As the Controller at Push, you will be responsible for owning the accounting function and processes, throughout the various geographies we operate in. You will build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to GAAP
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and supporting schedules for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure strong internal controls and compliance
- Transform reactive, manual workflows into proactive, scalable systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with increased responsibility
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Active CPA license or advanced degree in accounting highly preferred
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Prior experience in a startup or early stage company with a global presence preferred
- Experience with internal controls and audit management
