- Act as primary interface between GE Aerospace and customers on all contractual matters
- Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including regular interfacing with customers, leading negotiations, and contract interpretation
- Interface with Manufacturing, Program Management, Marketing, Sourcing, Engineering, and Legal
- Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision
- Present risk mitigation strategies to Senior Leadership related to contractual risk
- Provide support to managers and senior contract personnel on assigned contracts
- Assume team leader responsibilities for assigned programs and special projects
- Provide interface liaison with functional organizations and insure proper communication of contractual requirements
- Embraces Lean, digital tools, and rigorous contracting practices to drive continuous improvement and employee and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to travel periodically
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a contracts, sales, or legal role)
- At least five (5) years of experience in government, commercial, or international contract formation and execution.
- Solid domain expertise in Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and DoD FAR Supplement
- Must have experience building strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Able to work independently as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of contract law and formation
- Anticipates, identifies, and resolves complex contractual issues
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to build solid relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team and learns from failure
- The base pay range for this position pay range is $ 108,900.00 - 145,400.00 USD Annual USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
