Contracts Manager - Remote

• Act as primary interface between GE Aerospace and customers on all contractual matters
• Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including regular interfacing with customers, leading negotiations, and contract interpretation
• Interface with Manufacturing, Program Management, Marketing, Sourcing, Engineering, and Legal
• Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision
• Present risk mitigation strategies to Senior Leadership related to contractual risk
• Provide support to managers and senior contract personnel on assigned contracts
• Assume team leader responsibilities for assigned programs and special projects
• Provide interface liaison with functional organizations and insure proper communication of contractual requirements
• Embraces Lean, digital tools, and rigorous contracting practices to drive continuous improvement and employee and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to travel periodically

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a contracts, sales, or legal role)
• At least five (5) years of experience in government, commercial, or international contract formation and execution.
• Solid domain expertise in Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and DoD FAR Supplement

• Must have experience building strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Able to work independently as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of contract law and formation
• Anticipates, identifies, and resolves complex contractual issues
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to build solid relationships with internal and external customers.
• Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team and learns from failure
• The base pay range for this position pay range is $ 108,900.00 - 145,400.00 USD Annual USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
