Harbor is seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire exceptional technical talent that supports our rapidly growing AI Implementation and Enablement practices. This role is responsible for recruiting highly skilled professionals across a wide range of technical disciplines, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence within legal technology The ideal candidate will translate an emerging talent profile into a practical sourcing strategy, build high-quality pipelines, and help Harbor compete for people who can shape a new category of work. and support our path toward a premier Anthropic partnership.
This is 3–6-month, full-time position that can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Responsibilities:- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and consulting positions, from intake through offer acceptance.
- Partner with leaders to develop effective recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities and hiring timelines.
- Source, attract, and recruit highly qualified candidates across all experience levels, including entry-level professionals, consultants, project managers, architects, and technical leaders.
- Lead recruiting efforts for AI-focused positions, identifying candidates with expertise in generative AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI governance, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for AI roles through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Evaluate candidates' technical backgrounds, certifications, and professional experience to ensure alignment with role requirements.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and effective stakeholder management.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data within the applicant tracking system and provide regular reporting on recruiting metrics and pipeline activity.
- Document best practices, process and procedures for recruiting AI Talent.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, recruiting best practices, and labor market trends to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting highly technical positions in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success recruiting AI professionals across multiple levels, including early career, experienced consultants, project managers, and technical leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of AI-related technologies, roles, and certifications, including familiarity with candidates who have completed Anthropic Academy and/or OpenAI Academy training or certifications.
- Strong sourcing skills utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and other modern recruiting tools.
- Excellent interviewing, relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches while delivering a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a data-driven approach to recruiting.
