Job Description:
The Content Marketing and Editorial Manager will shape, refine, and deliver compelling content that strengthens CSI’s brand, supports marketing and demand‑generation initiatives, and positions CSI as a trusted thought leader for community and regional financial institutions. You will play a key role in maintaining a consistent brand voice while translating complex technology and industry topics into clear, engaging content.
You are responsible for:
Writing and editing a wide range of high‑quality marketing content, including blog posts, thought leadership articles, campaign content, website copy, executive communications, and scripts for multimedia (videos, podcasts, etc.).
Developing and executing content strategies that support CSI’s brand voice, business objectives, and marketing initiatives.
Translating complex industry, technology, and product topics into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
Editing and reviewing content produced across the marketing organization to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with CSI’s editorial and brand standards.
Coordinating the development, editing, and publication of content across marketing channels in partnership with demand generation, product marketing, digital, and communications teams.
Maintaining and enforcing CSI’s brand voice and editorial style guide.
Reviewing content performance insights using tools such as Google Analytics and SEO platforms and collaborating with marketing teams to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Exploring and utilizing emerging tools, including AI‑enabled content tools, to improve content consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Supporting content review and approval processes and preparing materials for final editorial review and publication.

This role is part of CSI’s Marketing organization and reports to the Manager of Content and PR. You will work closely with cross‑functional marketing teams, including digital strategy, demand generation, and product marketing, in a collaborative environment that values innovation, initiative, and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
Approximately 3–5 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, journalism, or related roles.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong attention to clarity, structure, tone, and detail.
Experience producing a variety of content formats, including long‑form content (blogs, thought leadership, white papers) and short‑form marketing copy (web copy, ads, taglines).
Ability to translate complex subject matter into compelling, easy‑to‑understand content.
Familiarity with content management systems (such as WordPress), digital publishing workflows, and SEO best practices.
Working knowledge of content performance and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with editorial style guidelines (AP style preferred).
Experience in B2B marketing, financial services, fintech, or technology environments is strongly preferred.
Comfort working with new technologies and tools, including AI‑assisted content development tools.
