Bring your perspective. Raise the standard. Build what matters.

In This Role

In this role, you will support digital content publishing while improving the workflows used to prepare, review, ingest, release, and maintain content. You will divide your time between hands-on publishing and quality assurance activities and developing automated solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase production speed.

You will work closely with content managers, designers, engineers, localization partners, and external vendors to coordinate publishing activities and resolve operational issues. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong content operations experience with practical scripting skills and can turn repetitive or error-prone processes into reliable, scalable, and well-documented workflows.

Responsibilities

Content Publishing and Operations

  • Prepare, review, publish, update, and maintain digital content through a content management system.
  • Perform detailed quality assurance reviews of document, spreadsheet, and presentation templates before ingestion.
  • Validate metadata, accessibility, formatting, and compliance with established publishing standards.
  • Support English-language and localized bulk-ingestion workflows.
  • Coordinate content handoffs among content, design, engineering, localization, and vendor teams.
  • Maintain publishing trackers, operational documentation, status reports, and audit trails.
  • Manage multiple publishing workstreams while meeting established release requirements and deadlines.
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, dependencies, blockers, and recommendations.

Workflow Automation and Tooling

  • Identify repetitive, manual, or error-prone content processes that could benefit from automation.
  • Translate operational needs into clear automation requirements and maintainable workflows.
  • Build, test, document, and maintain scripts and lightweight internal tools using Python, PowerShell, APIs, or similar technologies.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation.
  • Consolidate separate or existing scripts into reliable end-to-end workflows, including one-click solutions where practical.
  • Develop batch-processing tools, validation workflows, and internal utilities supporting publishing and quality operations.
  • Create dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into publishing volume, quality, turnaround time, and blockers.
  • Produce process documentation, user guides, and support materials that enable broader adoption of automated solutions.
  • Incorporate appropriate human review and publishing controls into automated workflows.
  • Continuously improve solutions based on user feedback, operational requirements, and performance results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, content automation, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of experience in digital publishing, content operations, production operations, workflow automation, content management, or a related area.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience building, testing, and maintaining automated solutions using Python, PowerShell, APIs, or comparable technologies.
  • At least two years of experience with content management systems, content ingestion, metadata preparation, and structured quality assurance.
  • At least two years of strong practical experience with document, spreadsheet, and presentation productivity applications.
  • Understanding of the complete content publishing lifecycle, including intake, metadata preparation, quality assurance, localization, ingestion, release, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience preparing, publishing, updating, and maintaining content through a CMS or publishing platform.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to create scripts, automate workflows, troubleshoot issues, or develop documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience completing structured QA reviews against defined standards or checklists.
  • Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and translate them into clear technical or automation requirements.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple publishing and automation workstreams independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to proactively identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated employment stability and consistent tenure across previous positions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with APIs, Git-based development workflows, command-line tools, query languages, spreadsheet automation, or reporting dashboards.
  • Experience consolidating multiple scripts into reliable end-to-end tools or one-click workflows.
  • Experience developing batch-processing tools, automated validation frameworks, or internal operational utilities.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, prompt-based workflows, and human-in-the-loop quality processes.
  • Experience creating dashboards that measure publishing throughput, quality, turnaround time, automation impact, or operational blockers.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, process guides, and user-support materials for automated tools.
  • Background working across content, design, engineering, localization, and production teams.
  • Experience designing automated solutions that are accurate, maintainable, scalable, and accessible to nontechnical users.
