Job Description
The Content Operations Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, daily operation and maintenance of multiple content operations systems with a focus on the Dalet Galaxy Asset Management system. The candidate will collaborate with multiple business units to identify, implement and refine post production workflows and processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This position will report to the Technical Manager, Content Operations.Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, test and document Dalet Galaxy Workflows
- Support and maintain existing Dalet processes and workflows
- Design, develop and document content operation processes/integrations related to on-prem and remote editing environments
- Provide Tier 1 support for content operations systems and workflows.
- Organize and maintain metadata systems, ensuring accurate and consistent classification, and enforcing governance policies
- Work within an Agile framework to support business objectives and goals
- Work in a heavily collaborative environment, taking on a variety of roles when necessary, with a positive attitude
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of Media Asset Management System administration
- 5+ years in a professional media post production environment
- Strong understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of Mac and Windows operating systems
- Strong understanding of media codecs and standards
- Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential challenges and propose proactive solutions
Nice to Haves
- Dalet Galaxy administrative experience
- Ability to troubleshoot without direct supervision
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite outside of Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
- Experience and understanding of technical documents as it pertains to API’s and coding languages
- Experience with FFmpeg and other transcoding technologies
- Experience with JIRA
Compensation
$85,000 - $100,000
