Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and curious about the music and podcast landscape in your locale?
We're looking for individuals with strong research skills and a genuine interest in exploring local audio content. You don’t need to be an expert—just curious and open to learning about what’s new to you.
Join our team as a Content Moderator and support a short-term project for one of our key clients in the music and tech industry.
In this role, you’ll be reviewing user-generated search queries to ensure they meet content moderation guidelines and quality standards. Your decisions will contribute to a safer and more accurate digital experience.
This is a freelance, part-time position offering hands-on experience in moderation QA.
This role is great for people who can:
Review and categorise user search queries using moderation guidelines.
Log decisions and relevant reasoning using tools like LabelStudio.
Collaborate with other moderators to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
Identify and flag subtle violations (e.g., hate speech, explicit content, violence).
Ensure all content aligns with ethical and safety standards.
Project Details :
Job Title: Content Moderator - Japanese
Location: Remote in Japan.
Hours: Flexible schedule, 15-25 hours per week.
Start Date: ASAP

Project Duration: 1 to 2 weeks (with possibility of extension)
Rate per Hour: $29.00 USD - Based on tasks completed

Experience & Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Japanese
- Strong written and reading skills in English (minimum B2 proficiency).
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with content moderation policies is a plus.
- Experience using annotation platforms (Labelstudio preferred).
- Strong ethical awareness and understanding of content safety.
- Prior experience in moderation or annotation is a plus.
