The Content Marketing Manager will develop and execute a content strategy, drive SEO visibility, manage editorial workflows, and ensure content quality to enhance customer experience in insurance.
Overview of the role
We’re on a mission to modernize insurance, making it simpler, more accessible, and customer-first. The insurance industry is a $1T market that has remained largely untouched by the digital revolution, and PolicyMe is here to change that. As a remote-first, Toronto-based startup with big ambitions, we’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help us build the future of insurance in Canada and beyond.
PolicyMe is looking for a strategic, hands-on Content Marketing Manager to own and scale the Health and Dental content vertical. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving organic growth through high-quality, AEO-optimized content that helps Canadians make smarter insurance decisions.

What you'll be doing:
- You’ll own end-to-end content strategy for your vertical—setting the roadmap, building and managing a content calendar, and ensuring strong AEO visibility across search engines and AI-driven answer platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with SEO, brand, and product teams, while managing a network of writers and freelancers to deliver consistent, high-impact content at scale.
- Owning and scaling a dedicated content vertical from strategy through execution
- Driving SEO and AEO visibility, with a focus on discoverability in search and AI answers
- Managing writers, freelancers, and editorial workflows
- Building and maintaining a high-performing content calendar

- Proven experience owning a content vertical or program end to end, including strategy, execution, and performance measurement
- Strong background in SEO with emerging AEO best practices, including content designed to rank and perform in AI-driven answer surfaces (e.g., featured snippets, SGE-style results, LLM visibility)
