Job Description: Supports development and execution of the Owens & Minor Commercial Sales Team’s presentations, elevating the company’s value proposition and brand loyalty. This professional will be a valued member of the Commercial Operations Team, serving as a consultative content strategist who will transform ideas and written content into concise, vibrant presentations that will wow executive leaders and customers — from the rep level to the C-suite. These presentations include, but are not limited to, Executive Summary, Request for Proposal (RFP) and Strategic Business Review (SBR) PowerPoint decks. Through creative thought and illustrative skill, this dynamo will communicate the company’s healthcare offering by leveraging corporate-approved branding, marketing strategies, and a professional lens to produce the final executive- and/or customer-facing masterpiece. The person in this role will support brand advancement initiatives for the business in support of our Mission, while managing the Commercial Team’s expectations with a focus on continuous improvement, growth and engagement strategies, and ongoing maintenance of a presentation repository and best-practice decks. 
 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains customer presentation templates, to ensure strategic vision is woven into the deck flow and content.

  • Customer presentation templates to include but not be limited to:  Executive Summaries, Request for Proposal (RFP) Presentations, Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs), etc.

  • Ensures that customer presentation templates are built in an elevated format for senior-level delivery.

  • Reviews completed decks by sales, challenging them on the strategic story, and flow and content, to ensure consistent messaging and presentation goals are achieved.

  • Supports Commercial Sales with presentation development and customizations. 

  • Interprets/translates internal client ideas and thoughts into strong visual concepts.

  • Matrix manages business partners to ensure needed content or input is received in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple presentation projects at a given time and achieve deadlines.

  • Coordinates closely with relevant teams (e.g., Sales, Commercial Operations, Training) on marketing campaigns, tools, and rollouts. This will ensure the latest offerings can be included in customer-facing presentations.

  • Utilizes marketing and/or communications experience to enhance customer- facing presentations, ensuring they reflect the Owens & Minor brand and value proposition.

  • Collaborates and guides sales from first draft to final presentation materials.

  • Supports sales, guiding and directing them, to ensure we deliver a high-quality presentation. 

  • Maintains the latest, brand-approved versions of materials (e.g., documents and presentations) actively makes recommendations to internal clients on appropriate documents or cataloged versions to utilize.

Qualifying Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; concentration in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred

  • 2 or more years of relevant Marketing experience or any combination of relevant education and experience to meet the above requirements

  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills 

  • Good at coordinating with many stakeholders and understanding how to navigate and direct decisions to the appropriate leaders when issues or concerns arise

  • Strong ability to anticipate future needs of the organization

  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive team member who welcomes challenges

  • Communicates effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing

  • Manages time and resources effectively through strong organization, multi-tasking, delegation, time management and project management skills

  • Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, quality, and results

  • Analyzes information to make sound business decisions taking prudent business risks as appropriate

  • Anticipates problems and works proactively to solve them through creative thinking     

Additional Requirements

  • Performs additional duties as directed.

  • Travels up to 10% of the time.
