Location: Durango, Colorado
Job Description: The Concessionaire role handles all aspects of our onboard and standalone concessions services- offering guests food, beverages, souvenirs and other for-purchase items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with the highest degree of customer service in beverage, food and merchandise purchases
- Regularly restock inventory throughout and after shift
- Meet sales goals, as established by the Lead Concessionaire and Concessions/Retail Manager
Education, Skill and Experience:
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
- Experience operating cash registers and point of sales systems a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to interact in a friendly, energetic manner with customers
Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 10 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Varied schedule sometimes requiring evenings, weekends and overtime.
- Able to stand and walk on uneven or unsteady surfaces aboard a moving train.
