Complex Commercial Litigation Associate
Be an Early Applicant
Represent clients in complex civil and commercial litigation, working on large team trials and individual matters. Draft pleadings, conduct legal research, advocate in court, and apply state and federal civil procedure and evidence rules.
Burg Simpson attorneys advise and represent clients and their legal rights in complex civil litigation cases. Attorneys in our Complex Commercial Litigation practice work on a mix of both larger cases as part of a team of trial attorneys as well as individual cases with more first and second chair opportunities.
QualificationsCommercial litigation attorney candidates should have excellent oral advocacy and legal research skills, write well, efficiently, and persuavely, and be a strong team player in a high energy environment. And most importantly, the right candidate will want to become great at trial work, whether that is as a lead trial lawyer or in a supporting role.
Requirements of the position include:
- Active license to practice law and admission to practice in federal court
- Civil litigation experience including familiarity and application of state and federal rules of civil procedure, rules of evidence and attorney rules of ethical conduct
