JOB OVERVIEW:

Our JWF Specialty team is hiring a Complex Claims Liability Specialist! JWF is a leading Third-Party Administrator in the Midwest providing customized claims programs, managed care solutions, and cutting-edge analytics to clients who prefer service first partnerships. JWF provides claims services for self-insured, high-deductible programs, captives, programs and pools for all property and casualty lines. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Senior Claims Liability Specialist is responsible for all functions related to the adjustment of Public Entity/ Commercial liability claims and must be able to work autonomously, prioritize responsibilities, comprehend and evaluate complex coverage issues, manage a multi-faceted, manage a claim caseload, and fulfill client service expectations.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Moderate to complex loss adjustment including coverage investigations, analysis, and evaluation of liability, damages, and monetary exposures
  • Detailed and advanced coverage review and analysis Commercial Excess Polices and MOCs
  • Communicate and coordinate with Self-Insured Clients, carriers, reinsurers, SIR program administrators
  • Litigation management
  • Participate in claim reviews with clients, program administrators, carriers
  • on attendance, claim review meetings and mediations with clients and carriers, site investigations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and/ or comparable industry experience
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and analyze Commercial P&C coverage
  • Minimum eight (8) years Commercial Liability claims experience related to Auto, General liability, and Professional Lines liability claims (Employment Practices, Civil Rights, School Board Legal, Law Enforcement, Employee Benefits), ,  ideally with experience handling Public Entity liability claims
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Current Indiana adjuster license or qualified to acquire, and any other State adjuster licenses as needed

COMPENSATION: 

The national average salary for this role is $85,000.00- $105 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
