We’re hiring an exceptional Community Talent Sourcer to uncover and engage top-tier talent outside of LinkedIn. This is a high-leverage, creative sourcing role: find the best people in the hardest-to-reach corners of the internet. Contract-based with potential to extend.
Source Creatively: Identify and engage world-class technical talent on GitHub, Twitter (X), Hacker News, Discord, niche forums, and beyond.
Build Target Lists: Design and maintain talent maps for high-priority roles across engineering, AI research, and go-to-market.
Experiment & Iterate: Test sourcing strategies, measure results, and scale non-traditional channels.
Pipeline Generation: Own the very top of funnel, ensuring recruiters and hiring managers always have strong candidates to engage.
Outbound Excellence: Craft personalized, high-conversion outreach that resonates with builders, researchers, and operators.
Market Intelligence: Stay plugged into technical communities, spotting trends and identifying where top talent is active before others.
2+ Years Sourcing Experience: Proven track record of finding technical talent without relying on LinkedIn.
Community Fluency: Skilled at navigating GitHub, Twitter, StackOverflow, Discord, and other open communities to surface top candidates.
Hacker Mindset: Scrappy, creative, resourceful, and fast-moving.
Pattern Recognition: Ability to separate signal from noise and identify exceptional talent early.
Messaging Skills: Craft sharp, compelling outreach that gets replies.
Startup DNA: Comfortable operating in ambiguity, iterating quickly, and owning outcomes end-to-end.
