The Opportunity

This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your ideas and insights are valued, and your contributions are recognized. As the Community Manager for Organic Social, you’ll play a key role in connecting with Hatch’s community across both our Adult and Kids audiences. You’ll shape conversations, bring trends to life, and ensure our social content and tone reflect empathy, expertise, and joy—while helping people sleep better.

This role will report to the Director of Social and Community. You must be based in the United States or Canada and available during PST/PDT hours to ensure strong collaboration with our HQ team in California.

What You’ll DoWithin 3 Months, You’ll…
  • Become the day-to-day voice of Hatch across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and more—responding to DMs, comments, and mentions with brand-aligned empathy and warmth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Social Strategist and Creator to maintain and optimize our social content calendar.
  • Support lo-fi content capture for our priority platforms—shooting, editing, and publishing content for Reels and TikToks.
  • Draft compelling copy with our Senior Copy Lead using select hashtags and the latest platform features to support discoverability, cultural relevance, and brand tone.
  • Engage with tagged content, UGC, and community members to foster relationships and drive awareness.
Within 6 Months, You’ll…
  • Help ideate and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and community moments that resonate with both parenting and wellness-minded adult audiences.
  • Source relevant content creators and support influencer campaigns—from briefing to feedback and publishing.
  • Track and report on sentiment trends and community feedback, surfacing key insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Customer Experience to co-own FAQ responses and product dialogue across platforms.
After 1 Year, You’ll…
  • Own Hatch’s organic social engagement strategy across multiple channels—driving community love, platform growth, and cultural impact.
  • Identify emerging platform opportunities (e.g. Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit) to scale Hatch’s presence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build proactive community content that supports PR, Product, and Brand goals.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management or community engagement, preferably in an entertainment, consumer goods, or lifestyle brand.
  • Strong ability to concept, shoot, and produce short-form social-first video content (TikTok, Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts).
  • Experience developing and implementing content strategies that drive growth, engagement, and advocacy. TikTok Shop or affiliate experience is a plus!
  • Strong platform fluency—especially on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Familiarity with Threads, Snap, Discord, and Reddit is a plus.
  • Impeccable written communication and copywriting skills.
  • A creative thinker with a strong visual sensibility and storytelling instincts.
  • Comfort using social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Dash Hudson, Sprout, or similar).
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
