The Kira Community & Learning Specialist helps educators successfully adopt and integrate Kira into their teaching practice while serving as a trusted voice within the educator community.
This role sits at the intersection of educator success, professional learning, and community engagement, working directly with teachers and school leaders to translate Kira’s AI-powered capabilities into practical classroom strategies that improve instruction and support every student.
As a practicing educator or former teacher, this role acts as a peer advocate for Kira—supporting school implementations, leading professional learning, and helping educators confidently integrate AI into daily classroom practice.
The role also represents Kira in the broader education community through school visits, webinars, and conference presentations, while helping grow the Kira educator community by amplifying teacher voices and sharing innovative classroom uses of the platform.
This position works closely with the Teacher/Customer Success, Professional Development, and Marketing teams, with a focus on supporting Kira adoption in Tennessee and surrounding regions while contributing to national educator engagement initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:Educator & School SuccessServe as a trusted advisor for educators adopting Kira
Conduct school visits, classroom demonstrations, and educator check-ins to support adoption
Identify opportunities to deepen and expand Kira usage within partner schools
Lead professional learning sessions across formats, including in-person workshops, webinars, and virtual trainings
Support onboarding and implementation training for new schools and districts
Represent Kira at regional and national education conferences
Lead or co-present conference sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations
Engage educators at Kira booths and community meetups
Support the Kira educator ambassador network and build relationships with teacher leaders
Engage with educators in community discussions, events, and online spaces
Contribute to blog posts, webinars, podcasts, and educator resources
5+ years of experience as a teacher, instructional coach, or educator leader
Experience delivering professional development or educator training
Strong public speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills
Comfort demonstrating instructional technology tools
Passion for helping educators innovate and improve learning outcomes
Success in this role will be measured through:
Successful onboarding and adoption of Kira in schools and districts
Growth of Kira usage within Tennessee and surrounding regions
Participation and engagement in webinars, trainings, and conference sessions
Growth and activation of the Kira educator community and ambassador network
Educator satisfaction and advocacy
Travel will include school visits, regional educator events, and national conferences, with travel levels varying seasonally and expected to range between 30–50% of the role.
