About the Role

We're looking for an experienced community professional to join our Community team — a builder who thrives at the intersection of community, content, and operations. This is a generalist role: you'll own a community workstream end-to-end while contributing to the broader experience for our members across The L Suite, The F Suite, and the communities we'll launch next.

You're someone who can sit in a room with a General Counsel or a CFO and immediately understand what they care about, then translate that into experiences, content, or programs that deliver real value. You move fast, write well, and bring an opinion to the table.

The role is flexible across our different communities — you can be deployed to The L Suite, The F Suite, or future communities based on need — and reports into the community leadership team.

Responsibilities

You'll own a community workstream while supporting the broader member experience. Specifically:

Member Experience

  • Build deep relationships with members and become a trusted partner to them

  • Manage day-to-day moderation, member support, and engagement on the Braintrust

  • Surface member insights to the broader team — what's working, what's not, what's next

  • Contribute to onboarding new members and helping them get to first value quickly

Programming Contribution

  • Help curate live and virtual experiences that bring members together

  • Identify content opportunities based on member conversations and emerging trends

  • Pull in the right peers, partners, and topics for community moments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the product team to give feedback on platform features

  • Partner with sales and partnerships teams on sponsor activations and member acquisition

  • Contribute to team account onboarding, engagement, and retention efforts

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in community, member experience, customer success, programming, marketing, or a closely related role

  • Track record of running a workstream end-to-end with minimal supervision

  • Sharp written and verbal communication — you can write a Slack post that gets attention and run a room of 30 executives

  • High EQ and strong instincts for what executives care about

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment — you're a builder, not a maintainer

  • Experience with AI-native tools and an opinion about how AI changes community work

  • Experience working with senior executives (C-Suite preferred) is a strong plus

About The Suite

We are a team of ~80 of the world’s greatest community builders and technologists.
We build high-quality and highly-curated professional communities. We run two of these communities today, including our flagship The L Suite / TechGC, which is a private, invite-only community for General Counsels / Chief Legal Officers and their teams at high-growth tech companies and venture funds, and The F Suite, which is a private, invite-only community for Chief Financial Officers and their teams.
We currently have 5,000+ active members across our communities, representing C-Suite executives and their deputies from most of today’s leading tech companies (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Uber, Notion, Bolt, Figma, Airtable, Dropbox, Bilt, Datadog, etc.) and venture funds (e.g., a16z, Softbank, Tiger, Accel, Thrive, Battery Ventures, FirstMark, Kleiner Perkins, Insight, etc.).
Each of our communities is unique, but they are all underpinned by our custom-built member platform - the Braintrust. The Braintrust has rapidly emerged as the next evolution of the professional community platform, powering real-time conversations with the right peers at the right time as well as personalized research, insights, and strategies. The Braintrust is one of the strategic pillars supporting our mission to help today’s business leaders excel in their jobs with better and faster answers to their most pressing challenges.
We are a well-funded, profitable, and rapidly scaling startup with a high-impact team.

What Makes Us Unique

We fill a painful hole in the market at an unprecedented time in history. As executives are being pressured to master AI and “do more with less” while at the same time navigating an increasingly complex business environment, the right information and perspective has become harder and harder to find. The dominant networking platforms of the day are too broad and diluted to be effective resources, and it has become difficult to parse through the noise and misinformation to hone in on what really matters. Executives are rapidly retreating back to private, trusted communities for their information, support, and their most interesting conversations.
That’s where we come in. We connect executives to their most valuable resource - their peers - through a highly-curated collection of professional communities. In addition to attending live events, our members get access to the Braintrust, which is a comprehensive research and curated networking platform enhanced by Lloyd (our community-powered AI agent). After logging in, members are immediately connected with their closest peers, and are able to leverage their knowledge and experience for advice, service provider recommendations, benchmarking data, peer coaching/mentorship, and much more. The Braintrust also features a resource library with hundreds of educational videos, templates, and other materials from our community events.
