Community Engagement Specialist (Denver/Colorado Springs)

Are you energized by meeting new people, building relationships, and making a real impact in your community? We’re looking for a Community Engagement Specialist who thrives in the field, loves meaningful conversations, and knows how to turn partnerships into action.

In this role, you’ll be the key connector between our organization and community partners like medical examiners, coroners, funeral homes, and more. You’ll lead outreach efforts, host educational events, and keep relationships strong—all while driving awareness and support for a life-changing mission.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and manage relationships with community stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling messages that inspire action.
  • Represent us each day in your local communities at events, conferences, and in everyday conversations.
  • Lead educational initiatives and professional development sessions.
  • Track your impact through smart reporting and CRM tools.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or related experience to substitute experience for education on a 1-1 basis)
  • 2–4 years of experience post bachelor’s degree in field outreach, sales, or relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and love for being out in the field.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in organ/tissue donation, end-of-life services, or a criminal justice field!

Expected starting salary $52,000 - $58,000 with room for growth and advancement!

The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate's working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and / or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
