About the Role
The Communications Intern will be mentored by and report to Keeper’s Social Media Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Social Media teams on daily tasks and projects. This is a fall and winter internship with a fixed 6 month duration.
Responsibilities
- Support the Communications and Social Media teams with projects and daily tasks, including updating and maintaining media page, content creation for social media, announcement planning and execution, and writing for PR and internal communications
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking
- Show a strong desire to learn along with a drive to succeed in assigned tasks
- Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and be personable and dependable
- Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content including employee memos, press releases and media advisories
- Experience copywriting and creating engaging social media content
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to assist in administrative duties including scheduling social media content and updating media page on website
- Interest in learning social media and traditional media key performance metrics and reporting on industry trends
- Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree is preferred
- Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products
