WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Corporate Communications
Program Execution: Own the day-to-day execution of key corporate communication programs, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and marketing objectives across our vertical pillars.
Corporate Content Creation: Draft, edit, and manage the production of high-impact corporate content, including press releases, executive talking points, media pitches, and thought leadership articles that consistently adhere to WorkWave's brand voice.
Media Relations Coordination: Serve as the primary internal contact and operational lead for our external PR agency/consultant. Coordinate content flow, manage timelines, and track deliverables to ensure strategies and KPIs are met.
Executive Visibility: Manage the full lifecycle of speaking opportunities and corporate/brand awards, from tracking calendars and drafting submissions to coordinating detailed executive prep and internal promotion strategies.
Online Reputation Management: Systematically monitor and manage all corporate review platforms. Draft and post all corporate-level review responses and manage the internal process for soliciting new reviews.
Reddit Strategy: Spearhead our Reddit strategy by monitoring community discussions, engaging with relevant threads, and managing brand presence to foster authentic dialogue within core vertical markets.
Influencer Relations: Lead our influencer relations program to identify, recruit, and manage relationships with industry thought leaders and key voices in the pest control, green, and cleaning/security sectors.
Internal Communications & Employee EngagementInternal Communications Strategy & Messaging Alignment: Develop and execute a proactive internal communications strategy that ensures employees understand WorkWave’s mission, business priorities, and how their work connects to the overall brand promise.
Content Development: Lead the creation and distribution of engaging internal communications, including bi-weekly employee newsletters, all-hands meeting content, and updates to the internal intranet.
Communication Governance: Ensure a consistent, clear, and timely flow of information to WorkWave's 700+ employees, fostering a culture of transparency and engagement.
Brand Management & MeasurementBrand Governance: Act as a brand steward, ensuring the consistent application of our brand guidelines, messaging, and visual identity across all communication channels and materials, including training cross-functional teams.
Measurement & Reporting: Track, monitor, and analyze the effectiveness of communication and brand initiatives using established KPIs. Prepare data-driven reports and provide actionable insights to optimize future performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to ensure brand messaging is cohesive and integrated into all campaigns, events, and product launches.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in a Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing role.
2+ years of experience within a B2B SaaS or technology environment is required.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing communication strategies for both internal and external audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Exceptional Writer: Proven ability to quickly craft crisp, compelling, and error-free copy for diverse channels (media, internal email, executive prep).
Strategic Execution: Highly organized with a strong ability to translate high-level strategy into tangible, high-quality deliverables and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Experience with media monitoring (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management, internal comms platforms).
Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to confidently work with and provide counsel to subject matter experts, senior leaders, and external partners.
Proactive & Resilient: A self-starter who can take initiative, anticipates potential issues (e.g., reputation risks), and operates effectively in a fast-paced environment.
