Wayfair’s Global Service & Primary Sales team is seeking a talented communicator with a passion for storytelling to join our internal communications team. As a Communications Associate, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience by crafting multi-channel content that keeps our global teams informed, engaged, and connected to Wayfair’s vision and values.

In this role, you will create compelling communications around programs, launches, workflow changes, business news, and offerings that help employees stay aligned and inspired. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver consistent, high-impact messaging that resonates across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a sharp writer with excellent attention to detail who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to measurement will be key as you drive initiatives that enhance transparency, strengthen culture, and foster motivation across the Global Service & Primary Sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align and execute campaign and communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across internal channels 
  • Develop and implement targeted internal communication plans that support workflows, service/sales initiatives, and broader business objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end production and distribution of internal newsletters, delivering essential weekly updates to employees
  • Maintain and update editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery of communications
  • Analyze channel performance metrics (adoption rates, read/click-through rates) and track KPIs to measure impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Stay current on the latest trends and best practices in employee communication

The salary range for this position is $58,880 to $70,500 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications (not required)
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with proven coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Growth mindset with eagerness to learn, seek feedback, and proactively develop skills to meet company and team goals
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate on communication planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of AP Style is a plus
